Multiple Photography Series
POSTCARDS is a collection of photographs from different places. Each place has its own envelope of possible postcards. I am interested in the internal process of taking an image and making it the visual reminder of an experience , or if viewed by another person, it becomes a reminder of someone else and their experience of a place. If we take any of these pictures at the time and imagine that as the only postcard, printed and sent to someone by post, how is that different than the pictures posted on SoMe from a travel? This is something I am still interested in investigating, connected with a discussion about the need for actual postcards and if they are on the edge of becoming obsolete.
